The James S. Rollins Slavery Atonement Endowment
About the Endowment
Clay Westfall Mering, the great-great grandson of MU's James S. Rollins, established the Black Studies endowment fund to permanently support research, travel expenses for conferences, sponsoring conferences, seminars, and scholarship awards, in January of 2008.
The fund is available for students and faculty to study slavery and its after effects.
