Shaping the Black Family Through Policy: A Conversation with Missouri Lawmakers and Public Servants

Join us for this opportunity to hear from political leaders from throughout the State of Missouri to learn of current legislation and initiatives for the betterment of the lives of Missouri citizens. Panelists have been working tirelessly on issues that directly impact Black citizens and families. We will hear directly about current and emerging efforts designed to tackle injustice, discrimination, oppression and marginalization of Missourians, including those that disproportionately touch the lives of Black people in our state and across the country. Confirmed panelists include: 
   

  • Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas
  • Brian Williams, Missouri State Senator 
  • Michael Butler, Chair of the Missouri Democratic Party.

This panel will be moderated by Dr. Stephen Graves.
